THE BOLDNESS

Time of refreshing calls on me
You appoint seven sacred servants to eat
The bells that set us free
guitar To see the garden that is burning.

I find the words to fill the space
Leveled out the mouth of david
"To do whatever your hand and your plan
Had predestined to take place."(Acts 4:28)

I Pray for Boldness

"And now lord
Look upon their threats
And grant to your servants
To continue to speak your word
with all boldness."(Acts 4:29)

Time of Replenishment
The theme, the theme is grilling
I see myself outside the gate
Help me feel you upon my face.

ENDURANCE

Dogwoods show their white skin
That I may never see again
I watch the rain glistening
It fills the potholes in

My professor she says
Be thankful for this ongoingness

Yellow pollen parking lot
Six lane highway dark
Smashed streetlight smudge
I drive to pick you up

My boss she says
We conquer through endurance

Lesser Desires

Who the son is by Nature
we become through his grace

I, I pray I could remeber
how you spoke to me then

Lesser Desires pointing our fingers
to our churning bodies
and reasons that we're alive

Hold my hand for the winter
Walk in hope around the corner

Two red lawn chairs
We can bring them to Revere

Station

In time you've proven
Nothing is left alone.
Wandering and walking
"...Idols to the moles..." (Isiah 2:20)

I will love my brother
And the way the snow looks when it's old.

It reminds me of a corpse
mounded underneath a stop sign.

"For of what account is he?" (Isiah 2:22)

And the Kitchen

Voiceover of Mary Oliver reading her poem "The Journey"

Quiet winter sunrise
It hardly even matters.
I mix corn and flour
Like my grandma making batter.

Forever in a day. Forever in a day.

Five words to describe you
And you say no way
Then quiet, wistful, watchful, afraid
of forever and a day

Tall Buildings (Cover)

By: John Hartford

Someday, my baby, when I am a man
and others have taught me the best that they can
They'll sell me a suit and they'll cut off my hair
guitar and send me to work in tall buildings

So its goodbye to the sunshine, goodbye to the dew
Goodbye to the flowers and goodbye to you
I'm off to the subway I cannot be late
I'm going to work in tall buildings

When I retire and my life is my own
Made all my payments and it's time to go home
I'll wonder what happened betwixt and between
When I to work in tall buildings

So its goodbye to the sunshine, goodbye to the dew
Goodbye to the flowers and goodbye to you
I'm off to the subway I cannot be late
I'm going to work in tall buildings
